Staff were friendly and accommodating during my stay.
I was horrified to find bugs in our room. The smell in the room was overwhelmingly strong, triggering nausea, and to top it all, our room was not cleaned before our arrival. I had to go to the office for clean towels and was shocked to learn that our room wouldn't be serviced during our stay.

Big hype, little substance
While the location is serene with stunning mountain views and a friendly staff, the overall experience fell short. Slow breakfast service and lack of amenities like the closed pool left us wanting more. Our room was decent, but the unimpressive breakfast options and limited access to the lobby during late hours dampened the stay.

The fitness center was out of order during our stay, which was disappointing.

The local eats, from the juicy steaks at Trailhead Steakhouse to the decadent sweets at The Chocolate B'ar, were absolute must-tries! Plus, the clean rooms and friendly staff made our stay feel like home.
The exterior needs some love. it looks tired and uninviting. And the breakfast service was a bit too intense—getting told to zip it felt more like being scolded than welcomed!

During our stay, we loved exploring Townsend's breathtaking nature. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful too, especially the variety of delicious options available.
In my wife’s opinion, the outdoor pool was a big letdown. It was closed and looked uninviting. For families traveling with young kids, having a functional pool is a must!
